Party time and Mommy Date

Saturday we celebrated Nathaniel's 2nd birthday and had a great time at the park. The young kids loved to play on the playground and the older kids (aka Daddy's) had fun playing basketball. It was sunny and blue skies, a perfect day to be outside. With all of the fun, everyone was tired when we got home and quickly fell sound asleep.

Sunday was Valentine's Day and the girls got flowers and a little present (books and bubbles). MJ was mostly interested in the tissue paper, but we eventually got her to open the present.

In the afternoon, Anna and I went on a mommy date to the salon. Anna was really excited to be at "the painting place" and chatted politely with the lady who was doing her nails. It was a tough decision for a 4 year old to select a color out of the many many options, but she eventual settled on pink and gold.
